How much does a clinic website cost in India?
What a clinic website costs in India, what pushes the price up or down, and what to ask before you pay. Our starting prices, shown openly.
If you run a clinic anywhere in India and you have asked three agencies for a website price, you have probably got three very different answers, and no clear idea why. This post explains what a clinic website really costs, what changes the number, and which questions protect you from surprises.
We will be open about our own prices too, because hiding them is exactly what makes this topic confusing.
The short answer
For a single clinic, a good website is a one-time setup cost, plus a small monthly cost if you want someone to look after it. At Pingwerk, a website starts at ₹15,000, a website with WhatsApp booking starts at ₹25,000, and an optional care plan starts at ₹1,500 a month. Other agencies price differently, so use the sections below to compare like with like.
What changes the price
Number of pages. A clinic with a handful of treatments needs fewer pages than one with a dozen. Each treatment page takes time to write well, and those pages are what patients find on Google.
Booking. A plain website with a phone number is the cheapest. Adding online or WhatsApp booking costs more because someone has to set up the slots, the confirmations and the reminders.
Content. If you already have clear text and good photos, the work is faster. If we need to write treatment descriptions and arrange photos, it takes longer.
Extras. A before-and-after gallery, a doctor profile, a blog and Google review display all add useful things for patients, and a little more work for the builder.
What is usually not in the price
This is where surprises come from. Ask each agency about these in writing:
- Domain name. It should be registered in your name and renewed by you. Pay it directly.
- Hosting. Some agencies charge yearly hosting. Ask how much, and whether you can move the site later.
- Payment gateway fees, if you take payments online. These are charged by the payment company, not the agency.
- Changes after launch. Ask whether small edits are included, or charged each time.
Questions to ask before you pay
- Who owns the domain and the site? The answer must be you.
- Can I see a live example? A real clinic site you can open on your phone tells you more than a portfolio of images.
- How will patients find me? A site that nobody can find does not help. Ask about Google Maps, your Google profile and basic search setup.
- How will patients book? Ask to try the booking yourself.
- What happens after launch? Know the monthly cost and exactly what it covers.
Is cheaper better?
Not always, and expensive is not always better either. A very low price often means a generic template with little setup, no help getting found on Google, and nothing after launch. A very high price may include things a single clinic does not need. The right price is the one where you can see exactly what you get.
What a clinic website should earn you
A website pays for itself when it turns searches into appointments. The things that do this are simple: a clear page for each treatment, your doctor and clinic timings easy to find, reviews that build trust, and a booking step that takes one tap on a phone. Dental Sphere in Nagavara is built this way, with 12 treatment pages, a doctor profile, a gallery, reviews and WhatsApp booking.
