Privacy policy

This policy explains how Pingwerk ("Pingwerk", "we") handles personal data collected through pingwerk.in, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect:

• your name, business name, business type and phone number;
• the optional message you write;
• the page you submitted from, and your IP address (used only to block spam).

If you message us on WhatsApp or call us, we also hold whatever you share in that conversation.

Why we collect it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to work with you. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. We don't sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet that only Pingwerk can access. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including your IP address) to deliver pages and run the spam check.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently use analytics or tracking cookies. The only thing saved in your browser is your light/dark theme choice, which stays on your device. If we add analytics, we will update this page first.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. Contact us at hello@pingwerk.in or +91 70221 77781 and we will respond within 7 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes

We will update the date above whenever this policy changes.
